With the impending death of my Infiniti qx4, I'm in the market for another vehicle, especially one that can at least allow me to transport some lumber, without the truck-like ride.

Anyway, while searching online as to whether the premium package Ms had trunk/ ski pass throughs, I came across this: http://www.justanswer.com/nissan-infini ... stake.html I got a good chuckle from Tom's efforts, or lack thereof.

LOLOL...Tom thought he was so smart to ignore the facts and instead continue with ignorance and arrogance.
Even 4 years ago, that's a priceless lesson to go to NICO for these things.

Not sure how I would have walked them through that unlock myself though. If the trunk valet switch was off but would not open b/c of the alarm (or on but glovebox was locked). ...and the trunk would not open with the switch, there's no internal release cable or lever, is there? I was thinking that through the trunk strut mounting area, there might be a small passage to grab the release cable...

Next thing to try would be to locate the trunk release wiring and send 12v through it.

Haha, yes indeed. Good olé Tom.

I have to check my trunk again, but I believe the y34 has a release lever, although attached at the rear-most/vertical part of the trunk. I can't recall what kinds of openings there are, but IIRC, things like the subwoofer have to be pulled from the trunk

I usually refrain from posting how to bypass the security system in public, but I know the security system shuts everything down depending on what happened before the door was opened. I have a mechanical and electrical way to open the trunk from the cabin in that case though.
