Does the models go like this: SE GE GLE-better to lower grade.. or the other way??

Also, in the 5th generations there are three buttons on the driver's visor. Is that the feature where you can set driver specifications and at the push of a button go back to it??

All GLE's are loaded and only come with Auto Trannies.GXE's can be with manual or auto, not all option packages can go on GXESE's have sportier suspensions and liquid filled engine mounts like the GLE's, otherwise can be low to hi content depending on options chosen by original buyer.

4th gen maximas did not have liquid-illed mounts, I don't believe. I test drove a 2000 GXE that had liquid-filled mounts, though.

I think that the liquid mounts were a 5th gen thing only, though some people have modified the 4th gen mounts with an epoxy in such a way that they are functionally similar to the 5th gen mounts.

I could be mistaken, but that is my recollection.

That is right- the write-up involved DIY liquid-filled mounts for the GXE models.

That's weird. I don't recall my motor mounts being liquid-filled on all the occasions I've had them off the car.
