No, strut tower braces tie the tops of the struts together. Anti-sway bars tie the lower portions of the suspension together, and it's not always at the strut... it could be at a tie rod, control arm, a-arm, transverse link, etc. etc...
They both serve for improving handling, but they go about it in different ways.
And you do have struts on the Versa. Basically every front-drive vehicle has McPherson struts at least up front. (Versas have shocks instead of struts in the rear, I think...)
