Random paint chips

Hey guys, I'm new here. I finally just bought my A/C I've been wanting since they came out. When I got it, I noticed a few paint chips on the hood. I didn't think anything about it since I figured I could get some touch up paint and fix it. Now though, It seems like any little thing will cause little paint chips, even just washing the car. I have an '08 and I wouldn't think a 2 year old paint job should do this. I was wondering if anyone else has come across this issue and if there is anything I can do to fix this other than getting it completely repainted? Thanks.

p.s. The color is Code Red.

My car is the same year and color. It also has the same exact problem. I have wondered if the color is just an easily chipped paint. Every time I look at my car I find more chips its crazy. On a side note, I have tried to find touch up paint locally and no luck there(don't want to call the dealer) but I find it online for prices that are quite high. I have used touch up pens in the past and find that to be best way to touch up. If I find a good online dealer for that, or if anyone else knows one, we'll let you know.

I don't know if you have an O'reilly Auto store down there, but we have a paint shop in one of ours that mixes paint to match and they matched the color perfectly and it was only about $10 for a good size bottle. You can't even tell, I'm just tired of going over with touch up every time I wash my car. I stopped by the dealer and he said there wasn't a recall and that he hasn't seen this problem before, but I don't know if I believe him.

oh .. i always though they are Normal rock chippings from drives on the highway.. i have a code red as well .. yes , i do notice many small chips on the hood, front bumper.

Yeah guys thats just normal wear and tear from rock kick-ups and such...I have dark slate and my hood and front end are ALL torn up. I even have a big chip in my custom black powder coated grill that lets the chrome show through.

yea i gotta agree, ur just paranoid lol
i love my super black coupe too, and notice the smallest paint chips, but its normal.
wax it and polish it
