I want to keep this as simple as possible. For about 3 months now my car has been experiencing random symptoms which include extremely rough idling and loss of power, almost feels like a cylinder isn't working and car is about to run out of gas. This could happen from a cold start to the middle of driving. The car can also be fine for weeks in a row before this happens again. To reiterate again, the symptom is very noticeable because the car will shake like crazy at a stop and when you push the gas it has no power, it also sounds like a lawn mower in that stage. Again this happens RANDOMLY. It seems to trigger more if I really hit the gas on the highway, then it'll happen for a few minutes and car is fine again. :gotme

Could it be my injectors? I would hate to waste money and replace them if this isn't the case. Car has been tuned up the past year, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, fuel pump, oil changed every 2 months.

I am running out of ideas here, some shops have shrugged their shoulders and told me the problem has to be happening for them to diagnose. I'm never near one when this problem happens and it goes away in minutes.

Someone give me an idea here, thanks for reading and Happy new years!

Check your major and minor engine grounds. Hell, you might even want to add some extra ones (like from the head to the firewall). Also try shaking the main engine harness around the injector/TPS/Coolant Temp Sensor area to see if it stumbles. Last but not least, check your MAF connection and look for possible vacuum leaks.
