random high idle ka24e hardbody

Hey Guys,

my 94 hardbody has developed an annoying random high idle problem, where the truck will sometimes decide to idle around 1300 rpm, instead of the usual 800ish. It seems to come and go totally randomly and sometimes when driving around will start idling at 1300 and then after the next light or two will idle at 800 again, which makes me think of an electrical issue since the truck sometimes does idle properly like it should.

anyone got an idea on where to start with this?

try cleaning the throttle body.

yea thats the first thing i did i shouldve posted, i took apart the IACV , throttle body and the AC air valve and cleaned them all out.. not sure if it's one of them that is being funky or something else. there are like 3 air adjustment systems on that TB o_O
