does anyone know or think it would be possible to drop the japanese skyline engine into the 2004 touring z? would the trans hold up or need replaced as well? clutch changed or no? would the skyline engine even fix into the engine bed?

you should be more specific when you say skyline engine, there are numerous skyline engines and models over numerous years.

to say the least numerous variations have been put into the Z from what I know
