I took my car to AutoZone to get the codes run, previously owner has been driving the car for months and months with the service light on. Here are the systems:

Car is really underperforming, it has extremely rough idling and will sputter down and die. Will rough idle anywhere from 3 seconds to 15 before it dies. Engine starts right back up. I have been putting it in neutral when I idle and keep the RPMs up when it starts dying by pressing the gas.

I know that my exaust is completely broken off of the flange in the middle of the exhaust system. This is probably a contributing factor.

Any ideas?

What were the codes? The FAQ section here is pretty descriptive for codes from there maybe someone can be more helpful.

I've been doing some research and I think the problem is coil related.

zerothread?id=218053

I get the P0300 and P1320, same as the others in the thread who needed new coils.

Possibly MAF though?

Ii had the same thing twice, the car starts shivering while you staying and waiting in the traffic - both times MAF sensor - first time changed to aftermarket - worked for 3 month and started to do the same thing (DO NOT BUY THE AFTERMARKET - PAY MORE, BUT ONCE). Second time OEM and ECU reprogramming - works like a clock..
