Random Brightness

So i've noticed lately that my car will randomly tell me what the brightness of my instrumentation panel is on that little heads up window near the speedometer. it just started doing this (and i'm not pushing the buttons at all) and i'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if they've gotten it to stop.

hhuummm, not experienced this, yet. have you gone into the alerts and found this or have you got the brightness on max? I have mine 1-2 clicks below the max brightness.

your brightness adjustment knob might be loose. when you hit a bump it might wobble just enough to make the display go off

Mine did this before. I just manually adjusted the brightness to a different setting and back. Been fine since. I usually have it one step dimmer than full bright with the headlights on.

yeah, i moved around the brightness knob around a bit and it hasn't been an issue since

Yeah I think it gets stuck in between a "notch" or simliar. Meh. Wouldn't worry about it.
