So, guilt by association because the other people around the perp are associated? I'm not making excuses for the actions of the s*** and I'm really not too sure about my like/dislike of Rand Paul since I don't live in KY thus he does not represent me but I still don't see why "tea party" is such a negative. Hell, there has never been violence at ANY Tea Party event yet they have the reputation of being violent and racist. What a great thing the MSM is, huh?
From what I understand, the perp may actually be a registered Democrat so it would be indeed "odd" to think of him as a typical Republican.
Also, during the same time frame and largely ignored: "The paper also reported that a second fight broke out before the debate, with a Conway supporter stepping on the foot of a female Paul supporter. The Paul supporter, who recently had foot surgery, refused medical treatment but filed an assault report." Seems the Rand supporter was wearing a post-op "shoe" and I believe she did have to go back to the doctor because it ripped out stitches (can't be sure as I'm catching that 2nd hand and it's largely unreported). Unfortunately, no video exists and if it did I doubt it would be seen via MSM in the first place. I remember the video of the SEIU guys beating up the black Republican at a rally was largely ignored by media outlets other than Fox because the are so far right, donchano.
