The US Senate voted 90-1 early Saturday on a non-binding resolution to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Voting against the resolution was Sen. Rand Paul, arguing that the bill was a de-facto declaration of war.

A law enforcing that the children of the President, Senators and political leaders in general, who are between 20 and 30 years old must the the first ones going to any war against another nation will prevent unnecessary wars by the US.

Right now, they make the wars and the ones sent to fight are someone else children... such is pure "innocence"

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. If they don't have some skin in the game, their opinion is less important.

Yeap, this is not one of the pros but one of the cons about democracy, because in past times, the kings used to send their own children to the front and battle, so the people will follow the leaders.
