We only have an 1/8th anywhere near here, so a couple of my friends and I went down to Gleason, TN to run them.

First run (ever in this car) was a 9.05 @80.46 with a 2.1 60'

Best was 8.96 @ 79.3 mph with a 1.99 60' on cruddy nexan tires.

Not too shabby methinks for 12 lbs tapering to 10

You were trapping 80's in the 1/8th mile? Wow...

yeah, it's been a while since I've raced, is that good?

i was kinda hoping to dip lower into the 8's, but I blew an IC coupler and had to spend most of my time fixing that.

Here's a vid, I don't have the 8.9 run because the guy that recorded it hasn't gotten it pulled off of his camcorder. This was taken with a digital camera.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...=user

heck, he pointed at the wrong stinkin timer at the end, so I don't know what I ran on it this one.

i hate 1/8 mile track times because i'm so used to hearing 1/4 mile times. So i haven't the foggiest idea how fast that really is.

But, like Dex said, if you hit 80 by a 1/8 mile, you'd have to have a very impressive 1/4 mile time and speed.

I did find this "estimated" conversion table. According to the chart, your 8.9 would translate to approx. 13.88 on a 1/4 mile. That's a pretty solid time!!!http://cochise.uia.net/pkelley...r.htm
