you might want to get a fuel pressure reg and new injectors before you blow the thing up on the dyno... but other wise nice job... did you un the car on the 17's at the track to get that 60ft

He's probably at around 250 horsepower at the wheels, in which case that is a freakin awesome ET.

Yah the 17's...

As far as blowing it up... 90.3% injector duty cycle is fairly safe to run and fuel pressure is a bandaid not a fix. I will eventuially get 550CC injectors but there is no nock and the AFR is around 10.2 so it'd still pretty rich.

but from what i hear from my tuners is that once above about 85% duty cycle you get injector stag.. where inj. start to malfuntion and are open/closed when they aren't suppose to... what is your top power that you want to reach.. and fuel preassure is a bandaid but is can also kill you to if not carefull

What size tires are you running on the 5zigen's? How do you like AEM?I know you really haven't dug into it but from what you've done is it easy to navigate/work with?

That is awesome that you are running 12 second ETs on the stock injectors and MAF. That is a kickin' setup you got there. What manifold are you using? Be sure to post your time after you get your EMS dynotuned.

Their experence and mine do not lign up. I won't say they are wrong but i just drove it down the track like that with zero knock and good Wideband readings.

I really like the EMS so far. I am definately looking forward to getting the launch controll set up. The wideband is SUPER easy you just run the supplied wiring harness and plug it straight into the back of the EMS and BAM you have real time non jumpy O2 readings.

It also IMMEDIATLEY started the first time even without an O2 sensor at all. On the map provided by aem. It starts hard when it's cold but that's from a lack of tuning. Remember AEM's offices are in Southern Cali

I'm running the SSAutochrome manny. I've had it on the car for about 4 months now with no issue.

I'm running 215's on the back. I have 17X7's front and rear

Hey Rob, it's me Tai. I don't go onto Nico much anymore but heard about you breaking into the 12s last night from my friend Nga. Congrats on the times. I can't wait to unleash my beast(SR22) onto that new pavement. I haven't been to the track in about a year.

The track is pretty good now. It doesn't spin too bad in second anymore.

very nice.... wish i would of waited on buying standalone i have the pwer fc but would really like to go to the aem piece... get the universal piece so i can run a map sensor.. but either way those numbers are very good for what you are running.. and the 60' is very good for 215's

I was looking at the power FC too but i'm in south Mississippi and nobody around here can tune a standalone the AEM sight is great for tech support so i figured i'de better wait for it and pay the extra money.

I have a friend with an SR22 in an S14 with the power FC and he has had excelent luck with it.

Yeah, I have a Haltech E6X in my car personally. I think all are great standalones. The one problem I have about it is no knock system in the haltech. For the PFC I hate no datalogging. AEM sounds great.

Well the PFC doesn't warn you about injector duty cycle till 95%+.The 85% is for top feed. Side feed injectors can run a higher duty cycle since the fuel is surounding the injectors coil and keeps cool. Good ET and 1/4. Wish I could pull a good 60ft.

That 60ft involved some pretty serious wheel hoppage. I ordered the subframe bushings hoping it would take care of some of it. It's 2 tenths better than any of my other 60ft times that night.
