Toyo Tires Import Challenge here in Oregon. Ran at Woodburn. Pretty nice day, not too hot but not cold enough. I still can't launch for the life of me....

13.3's all day at 110 with 2.2-2.3 60's. I am trying to lower my ET's but geezuz I suck. This was on a 93 hatch with full interior and street tires. Pump gas and .6 bar.

Hey that's pretty nice man. I'm sure you have mentioned or have it listed somewhere, but what turbo are you running? What tire pressure did you run? Lowering tire pressure to low 20s should help out traction a little bit.

Also I'm curious about something, what rpm and what gear are you in when you cross the 1/4 mile mark?

Ouch, those are some rough 60's. Try slipping the clutch alot more. It'll prevent a bog and tire spin.

Tire pressure was at 28 on Kuhmo MX's 225/50/16's. I have a T3/T04e Turbonetic's, 360 degree thrust bearing, STG III wheel, 57 trim, .63 A/R.

I am in 4th gear when I cross the line. Dunno what RPM, but I am in boost hehehe.

.6bar...as in 9psi?

You have a screwed up boost gauge I'm afraid...or a generous track!

110 trap speeds indicate about ~285rwhp with a 2700lb car.

9psi may get you 260rwhp...but that's a little shy of 110mph.

I did 248rwhp at 8psi with a not-so-conservative tune...same turbo.

What's up? What's the rest of you setup?

And I'm not trying to be an ******* or "call you out"...I'm curious as to why your results are so non-typical..?

Brian you are my hero, I built my kit off of your websites information.

Tial 38mm wastegate has a .6 bar spring in it, JGS Manifold, Spearco FMIC, above mentioned turbo, EuroSport 3inch Downpipe/TestPipe, A'PEXi N1 Dual cat-back, all tuned with an SAFC II. Boost can't be off because three different gauges, including one at the only dyno I have been too, read 8.7 psi or .6 bar. The car weighs 2600 pounds without me in it. Engine is all stock internals/head/etc, etc. I have an electric fan, car didn't come with A/C, I have power steering. I dunno. The car has always been a freak of some sorts, stock with only the cat-back and all-season tires it ran a 15.3 @ 91.

Dunno what to tell you guys, my KA-T just wants to run.

Huh...good enough.

2600lbs is a lightweight...I'll guess you're not a huge guy???

Must be the light weight and quick shifting...

Me, with ~250rwhp and a ~2850lb S14, plus me at ~220 (I'm 6'4", not a lard ***...!), and a sh!tty bost controller (bad lag between shifts)...I did 104mph. Typically it takes about 10rwhp to gain a MPH...but less weight gets you there quicker!

Did you read the SCC article with the 350Z...case in point.

Anyway, keep it up!

Brian's lying, he's really 400lbs.... He is just jealous you in your car weigh so much less so he's bashing your times.

Good runs though

Is woodburn a full 1/4 mile?

I hear PIR is an 1/8th mile.

Once I get done installing my fuel upgrade and clutch I want to take it out there and see what my 10psi will get me.
