Car:

1995 240sx SERB26DETT, stock, no power mods, running 14ish psiSlicksLSDStock suspension

Times:

R/T..................0.27760'..................1.752330.................5.0271/8..................7.679MPH.................93.521000...............9.9561/4..................11.863MPH.................120.64

Other times tonight were a 12.2, 12.1, and 12.0. Car drags the tail-pipe on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift.

Not too bad if you ask me, being that the RB26 is stock. What do you all thing?

Thanks guys.

Usually, the girlfriend is there to video it on my miniDVD video recorder that I bought just for track use, but she had to work. My father was there, but he was pit-crew ***** for me lol.

I have a set of MH 24.5x7.5x15 slicks on a set of steel wheels. Lowers the gear ratios a little, but its all good. I also have another set os Mickey Thompson on some Kosei race wheels, but those slicks are too large in diameter. Makes the car feel sluggish, and I have to rev it to 6500 just to get out of the box without bogging down.

Being that it has stock suspension, the car is pretty hard to control. It is constantly fish-tailing left and right going down the track, with dragging the tail-pipe too lol. But, that will be taken care of by next season.

Anyways, thanks guys for the comments. I am estounded with that time lol. Can't wait until I do some suspension work, and some engine goodies.

Actually, it is funny that you ask that. The Maxima "felt" faster, and that is something that my girlfriend and I have come to see. But, of course, the 240 has the much better 1/4 mile time. The Maxima would run AT BEST a 12.9 in the 1/4 mile. And that was using the same slicks I am using on the 240. So go figure. And at 11.1 psi of boost, my Maxima was putting down 401whp to the front wheels. So yeah, who knows.

Are you talking about the Super Walmart in Cumming, or near the Mall of Georgia/Buford area? If so, they are both within 10-15 minutes from my house. I actually work off of Peachtree Industrial and McGinnis Ferry. You are more than welcome to come and take a look at it. Hit me up some time on an email.

Wait, lemmie get this straight... your rethinking an LS1 swap after seeing how fast an rb26 is?

Not to put down the rb26 - 2 completely different bada$s motors.

That time is amazing btw!

I'd like to see how much power you're making at 14.5 psi!

Go dyno that beast.
