I'm hoping to buy a used woodstove and the weight is about 350 pounds. I have a ramp I want to use which is 4 feet wide so the rear opening looks like it is the way to load. Will the rear bumper support that much weight? I am going to try it out today for fitment but I don't see how it will be possible to get the mounting points past the bumper.

I don't think they publish any specs on that, since trailer hitches all bolt to the chassis and not the bumper. But I'm sure the rear suspension and chassis will both carry that much with no problem, and the bumper supports are pretty hefty. If the ramp has a broad contact area then the load-per-square on the bumper won't be very high and I doubt you'll have issues. If the ramp only has a few contact patches then it might be a different story.

That idea was no good. Using boards as a ramp and going in thru the passenger side center sliding door. All fueled up and ready to go tomorrow morning. Bought a set of shoulder dollies to use. Always wanted to have a set handy, I'll see how they work out.

Just don't do a Clark Griswold. Passenger vans aren't really meant for 350 pound Christmas trees.
