I've got boxes of chicken-flavored ramen upstairs. I'll be dependent on it as school and work require me to eat at strange hours when Mom isnt cooking. Anyone have ideas on ways to prepare/eat it?

I found that draining it and adding shredded cheese isn't too bad. Better when you add chicken.

holy crap. Look at that i just add 1 egg to mine and im happy. Don't buy the cheap romen eather. It gets all poofy and nasty. Always buy the marchin or whatever it is kind.

Miso soup is so easy to make. The hard part is the red sauce you add to it.

I like mine one of two ways.

1) with some joice like soup.

2) drained and served with some scrambled eggs

Drained with added packets of flavor, soy sauce, or if i'm feeling for some heat... this vietnamese chili pepper/garlic sauce i found up in toronto. The chinese grocery stores up there in the richmond hill area are nothing but packaged noodles. Had to be at least 200 different brands and flavors, couldn't read what half of them where but hey for 2bucks you don't like it you can flush it.

Anyone tried the creamy chicken flavor? It's really good with a little added REAL chicken and some hot sauce. Oh, and maybe some cheese.

A man we know that attends our local temple used to own a small thai market called Jay Asia, which I think still exists... I havent been there in a decade. Then he went and opened World Market. Its huge... like a big international Safeway/Albertson's that has almost every country's specific food items covered. Its in or near Kirkwood MO. Give them a ring.

be careful with it. A friend of mine was drunk and cooking ramen noodles and spilt the HOT! water in his lap.

he got 3rd degree burns on his stomache and D i c k and couldnt do anything with it for a month and a half.

he also immediatly stripped down when he spilt the water on him and stood naked in front of like 5 ppl and ended up going to the hospital

talk about a ****ty month and a half.

I HATE the creamy chicken flavor. The best is beef just straight up. Nothing added.

I drain it and put Parmesean (sp?) cheese on it. Not too crazy for me.

You know what's even better? Udon noodle bowls!

I like an egg either scrambled or hardboiled and sliced up and maybe throw in some scallions. I usually use only half of the packet, there's a lot of bad stuff in there. I haven't had ramen since this past winter. Anybody like seaweed salad?

i tell ya, i love my asian food. Today i hopped by a local korean grocery store and picked up a bottle of this:It's the shizzy on everything!!!

And they have lots of drinks from Japan, so i got a bottle of some Sapporo milk&coffee drink with some chibi cartoon on it.

SRIRACHA ROCKS MY WORLD!

I also like the chili sauce for chicken. Its spicy without being harsh, and the sugar in it is a nice touch. Goes great in a bowl of ramen. Also a teaspoon of peanut butter adds some texture to the broth.

I'll take steamed broccoli and a steak or some roast chicken anytime, but ramen is insanely easy and hard to mess up.

Exactly. I nearly lived off of Ramen Noodles for a semester back in college because it is all I could afford. I could have 2 meals a day for a month and not spend more than $15. If I could have afforded all the stuff to put in them, I would have fixed something else.

By the way, I am Ramen free for nearly 3 years.

Rarely, I don't have a working computer at home right now. Work is usually too busy for me to actually carry on a conversation on AIM. I am on occasionally though when my schedule permits.
