First, any way to raise the low beams? Just a tad. I'm not trying to blind people.

Secondly, on my rear seats there's a circular picture of a person reclining. What does this mean? I know there's a reclining reat seat option with the super duper crazy advanced tech. package but I also know I definitely don't have that option. So what is the significance? Thanks.

I dont know how diffrent your vehicle is from mine(03 M45) but on the left side of the steering wheel the is a dial with numbers on it 1-4 which should lower or raise the lights. The best time to do this is at night of course...try it out.

If you look under the hood you should see near the headlights a sprocket, using a Phillips head screwdriver, rotate the sprocket.

Carefully!

The 2003 /4 M45 has a manual knob inside (as mentioned here) and the new 2006+ M has auto-levelling lights.

Read the relevant Service Manual pages before you alter things, please! See http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ for more info on your cars ...

Hello,The 03-04 M45 had driver adjustable headlights. This was done for times when there is a heavy load in the trunk/back seat or hilly roads I suppose. The 06+ M45 this is done automatically. There is not a knob, rather, a bolt of sorts. An adjustment is done primarilly by service shops/dealers for the Gen. 2 M.Cheers,M.L

Sorry, I meant inside the car for raising and lowering the angle of the lights - it is left of the steering column. And, it is a wheel (knob turned sideways might be more descriptive!) on the 2003 and 2004 M45. For the new M, it is an automatic levelling system ...
