Really? This needed a topic?DrivingHabit wrote:With a light coating of rain on the roadways I have noticed my versa handles better in the rain kinda performs a little better than in dry conditions?? Have you guys noticed with your versa???
x2 i can't make it around a damn corner without the versa sliding into another lane. i hate the contis....Papercarz wrote:My versa likes to drift in the rain
Well stop cornering at 50MPH!!#1Tango wrote:

Light rain makes roads more slippery due to the oil coating the surface of the roadway, so that really is not possible for your Versa to handle better with a light coating on the road.DrivingHabit wrote:With a light coating of rain on the roadways I have noticed my versa handles better in the rain kinda performs a little better than in dry conditions?? More like lousy and unsafe driver.#1Tango wrote:

Exactly what I was thinking. Light rain usually makes for fairly slick road surfaces.fjwagner wrote:Light rain makes roads more slippery due to the oil coating the surface of the roadway, so that really is not possible for your Versa to handle better with a light coating on the road.
I hope he was speaking in hyperbole. I'm no street racer, but I've had experiences where the tires squealed around corners (short highway on-ramps, for instance), but that's mainly because I normally don't drive our Versa much. I've been conditioned to take those particular cornering situations at speeds that are perfectly calm in my car.Andrews Chalmers wrote:More like lousy and unsafe driver.
Well the car is tall. Even on lowering springs, it still won't outhandle some cars out there. I think it turns fine for me. I don't drive in a hurry all the time though.Vahagn23 wrote:The V is actually terrible on the turns. I have to keep playing on the wheel to keep it in lane, I sat in a VW Jetta and that car handles beautifully, it takes turns like a beast, no extra effort or anything.
