hey hey hey......nothing wrong with push button start i love not having to use a key on my M.AZhitman wrote:Yuck.
Another gimmicky useless "upgrade" (like pushbutton start) that's more hassle than it's worth.
lol...you should trade your M in for a Park Avenue...from all your posts it seems like the greatest car ever.The00Dustin wrote:The rain sensing wipers in my Park Avenue were awesome, but then, so was the climate control. That said, even though I'm sure neither are in your M45x, I'll gladly trade you my 06 M45 for your 10 M45x to to resolve this problem for you. It only has like 65K, and I'll even throw in the Elite extended.
LOL, as soon as a corporation other than the US government owns the GM nameplate, I might trade toward a used Lucerne Super, but only because I'm sure I can't afford to drive an S500. :P Actually, the Park Avenue was a piece of crap, because of cost cutting, the same reason the M is, but it didn't do nearly so many stupid things and it did have a few features that were really nice to have, then again, it certainly didn't have cooled seats, adaptive cruise, or lane departure warning, which would have been nice considering how much time I spent asleep in it. If I had done enough research, I would have just got an LS430 instead of going for all the bells and whistles, but then maybe I would have been equally disappointed in it, maybe my standards are just way too high for this day and age.rsg123 wrote:lol...you should trade your M in for a Park Avenue...from all your posts it seems like the greatest car ever.
The reasons above are why I still do not think that we have speed sensitive intermittent windshield wipers...palincal wrote:push button start is hands down the most useful feature for me.
Forget the rain sensing operation, I am disappointed with the speed sensitive intermittent operation. The wiping speed changes very slightly with speed. You can't tell this feature exists. At stops the wipers keep going. My 99 Accord had a much better implementation. Wipers would really slow down at stops.
There is a way for the dealer to disable the rain sensor and have 4 positions of regular intermittent wipers. I just had it done today after suffering years with this problem post6852811.html#p6852811KT88 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2010 4:38 pmWhat has happened to the old interval control? My wipers have a mind of their own going through all kinds of crazy speeds. Is there a hack to restore regular interval control and some sanity to driving in drizzle? It's enough to give me vertigo! Thanks for any help.
