Rain, snow or sandstorm. I will be racing on Saturday. The beauty of All Wheel Drive!

This is really got me concerned. Once the rain hits, whether it be scattered showers or a downpour, most tracks close up shop for the day. I guess worse comes to worse, we can hit the track up on Sunday morning or something, but I was planning on leaving at 7 am to get back into the city by the early afternoon.

How late can one cancel hotel reservations usually, isn't it at least 24 hours?

Damn weather

Its snowing in Chicago, so I can see how the weather is moving over our area.

Somewhere in the Hotel info thread (or one of the meet threads) GR addresses the cancelation policy. IIRC, it was up to the day of the reservation. Just not sure what time that day.

Also there is tons of fun to have at the horsepower house as a plan B.

KY weather is ever changing!Lets not get to excited about it just yet.

I talked to Shane at the track and he didn't even mention the possibility of them shutting down the track.;)

don't fear too much, I have been at the track before when it was raining. If it is a light sprinkle, or a chance that it will pass over they will post pone the runs, and dry it off. If it is going to hang over for a long time then they will call it a day, but they do give rain checks for the next time you come. Which dosn't do the ones out of state too much good.

pray for no rain, I have a new set of drag radials I want to try out/Scott

I'm mad I couldn't get my drag radials in time  but I do have poly mounts (just put them in today) in so hopefully the Spec will launch better

The weather report now looks really gloomy. As much as I want to go down there, to drive 800 miles round trip for a rain out, ouch! Decisions, decisions. How is the local tv weather forecasts looking for Louisville and Lexington for tomorrow??

He man even if we dont get to race (but stay optimistic) it will still be a great time, I promise. We always find stuff to do when the weather doesn't cooperate. I think it would be worth it to come and at least hang w/ some fellow Nissan freaks from all over the country!!

I don't see how it could be so - I'm here now and there's not a cloud in the sky - it's beautiful here.

Can't imagine it getting rainy, and the local report this morning called for a chance of "scattered" showers....

I have been watching the news and they said if we get any rain it will be scattered showers and it prolly won't be here till late afternoon or night anyhow so we will definitely be racing ;)

As of the 6:00 news, partly cloudy, high of 70, 60% chance of rain tomorrow.Today was a beautiful day though.

If you don't like the weather in KY wait a few hours, it'll change.
