As for the knobs and boots, save yourself the hassle and money of going to a professional and get them from http://www.interior-innovations.com/ I got mine from there and they look amazing.

.... Just install them yourself, it is really simple, anyone can do it.

Also you say you have the powertrix coilovers all ready? That's great, the wise choice would be to spend your money not on the interior, but on the powertrix adjustable control arms which you will need if you plan on lowering the ride height with the coilovers. Unless you want your tires to wear out extremely fast that is due to rediculous negative camber.

Install the coilovers and control arms dude, what are you waiting for.

Dunno if you saw or not, but I described what my problem turned out to be. Two small plastic pieces that keep tension on latch spring seem to have broken off.
Concept Z has the full assembly for sale here:http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart ... .251.55.41

I'm gonna try to find a Z in a salvage yard somewhere near by and try to pull it out of there before I spend $52 for a plastic housing however.

I'd also recommend Interior Innovations, I just recently picked up a nice Fairlady Z embossed leather wallet from them. Construction seems solid, shipping was prompt, and customer service was good. Only issue I had was not getting an order confirmation/invoice, but I contacted them and got a response quickly. I'll definitely be purchasing from them again.

My car had this issue when I bought it and I just pulled the thing apart and epoxied the broken piece back together and it's held up fine for 4 years now.

so i pulled it apart! i think i have the same problem. it was a spring about a half inch long that was part of the actual "locking" mechinism . there was a very very small plastic piece that broke that held the spring.

so i guess glue at this point. im thinking gorilla glue other than it expands when dried but i can always clean up the hole the spring sits in.

NICE!!! Its self explanatory, take the interior panels off then some 10MM nuts hold the tails on.

After that you will just need to break the seal of your current tailights be careful not to get any of the tarrish black glue stuff on your car. (if you do though don't go crazy just grab some lighter fluid and put it on a rag and wipe, it will come right off - then rinse/wash the car)

Insert your new taillights with the new seals they should have came with.

Then put it all back together! :)

^ this though to expand a little a heat gun or leaving your car out in the sun will make the butyl much softer and easier to remove the old tails. If you need extra do to a bunch pulling off with the old tail lights you should be able to find it at your auto parts store. Also don't over tighten the nuts on the tail lights as you can pull the pressed in bolt right out of the tail lights
