I didn't get a car when I turned 16 but when I did get a 85 porsche 944 when I graduated HS in .....when else....'85 I've since totaled that car 4 months after getting it and my dad did the most horrific thing you can do to a teenager at their prime driving years...I had to bum rides form my friends.

I shared my mom's honda accord when I turned 16 with her and bought my own first car for myself. Forget having your first car bought for you- you don't get to pick, especially when you're a girl and your parents think the best car for you is an old lady car. 100% self paid 08 altima coupe. wow! first car you bought yourself was a 3.5se altima coupe.... must have a good job cuz mine was like 29k out the door..... i got my license at age 18 and shared my mom's 2005 altima 2.5s. then i bid on an expedition and got got it for $1,200 and my dad paid for it.... then his truck messed up and he took the expedition, we shared it for a month and then i crashed it.... so i dont count the expedition as my first car, i count my altima coupe... my parents bought me my altima coupe for my 19th birthday.

2008 Nissan Frontier when it was a newer model. Only messed up the bumper backing out in a parking lot when someone was deciding to pull behind me at the last second.2nd car was my FIRST Nissan 09 A/C 3.5se.Taking into a curb sideways at what was expected to be god knows what speed, almost flipped, wobbled and came down and skipped an oncoming lane and about 30 yds on the side of the highway. Murdered both struts, bowed a strut tower, took out 3 wheels, my rear axel, and many, many joints. that was a FUUUUUUU---- accident. Got out, looked under my A/C and puked. Got it fixed and got it back. month later an F150 ran into me almost head on at an angle as i was yielding to leave Sonic and get on the highway. He cut into my exit lane and ripped my whole front left end off. What was left of my headlight was 12 in. back, and even my strut was done. Insurance had it fixed, since it was his fault, and he had a suspended licence. He should be getting served right about now for the bill.Sold it, got diminished value, and purchased my now even newer 09 A/C cept its silver.My 3rd car, my 2nd A/C 3.5se. Im cruising and lovin' muh babeh. :]

I'm 19 and have been looking for a job off and on since I was 16. Have had about 4 interviews (all group). And if the story is true.

I should be having an interview tomorrow or the next day and be hired by the end of the week. That is, as long as my friend isn't lying to me, which I will be super pissed if she is.

It's a seasonal job, so maybe if I can find a job soon after this one I can buy my Coilovers for Christmas I'm horrible with money, I cannot save no matter how hard I try, and it doesn't help having a money pit like this car on top of that
