Radios and cup holders

Ok, I dont know how this will fly, I was wondering if anyone had ever tried it. has anyone ever removed the pop out cup holders from an integra (which sits right below the radio) and tried to fit it into the s13? Under the radio? So like, instead of the storage slot, there would be pop out cup holders... Lemme know what you think... should I take the time to try this, or do we think it cant be done?

Would defiently be worth trying IMO. I know they have cupholders that attach to vents, not sure how good they would be.

I use my center console compartment as a cup holder. I just spilled a large cup of soda tho recently

you will probably have to do a lot of fabricating with plastic and ****. plus if you have more than a 12oz can you will block your radio access. i think

just do what everyone else does, yank the ashtray and put the drink there

i bought my car with the ashtray yanked out already... the guy who i bought from did it for me... thanks @$$hole ! (looks like crap IMO) oh yeah, when i have a drink in the ashtray, i cant really shift bc the drink is in the way

If it doesnt get in the way of the shifter or ability to shift, the can/cup will. There is very little room between the shifting area and the radio console in the S13.

well, I have an automatic, so shifting wont be that big a deal untill i try to put it in park. When I first got my car, it didnt have an ashtray, and thats what i used, was that hole, but i thought that that hole being there wasnt pretty. So I got an ashtray. I was also using the center console after getting the ashtray, but too much spillage. So I just thought maybe I could use the teggy cupholder. My uncle ownes a junk yard, so it wont cost anything but time to give it a try... Thanks!
