Radio with Nav volume response

I've noticed from the time I got the 2014 Rogue that when you adjust the volume up or down but mainly down it doesn't respond right away - there's a little delay both in the digital scale on the nav screen and the volume turning down. Anyone else notice this?

I've noticed it, too. It doesn't make sense that when you have your phone plugged up through the "hard-wired" interface, there would be a delay in adjusting volume. But, when the phone is streaming through Bluetooth the volume response in, pretty much, real time.

It's slow adjusting volume playing music from a USB flash drive as well. I think it's just the way the radio is.
