Radio Wiring

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi everyone,

I am trying to install a 3rd party bluetooth module into my 2008 EX35. It should be fairly simple as it needs 12v and ACC wires tapped and also plugs into the CD changer port of the radio. I removed the radio but am unsure which port was the cd changer port. As I have searched around this forum and around the web, I cannot find a diagram that shows what each plug is used for in the back of the radio. The one that seems obvious is, if looking from the back of the radio, the bottom left.

Here is a link to the adapter that I am trying to install (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H8 ... UTF8&psc=1).

I am also wondering if it even has a port for the cd changer since it has a 6 disc changer built in. If anyone has any information to help, it would be greatly appreciated!

Here is a picture of the back of my radio:

Thanks!
Ben

When I had my '08 model, I had the Bose audio unit with navigation, and I don't recall it having CD changer. Not sure which unit you have.

I'd say to look at the factory service manual here first:
https://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/EX/2008/

Open/save the AV.pdf file. The connectors and their associated wires should be found on the following pages:

AV-80 (Base audio without navigation)
AV-253 (Bose audio without navigation)
AV-591 (Bose audio with Navigation)

I don't have any experience installing car audio components, but hopefully this leads you in the right direction. Let us know if you're able to get it working.
