I am trying to put a Pioneer radio into my 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback. I've followed the schematic that was posted in August but I am having a slight problem. When I connect the power supply wire (Large brownish wire) to the power wire on my stereo and when I connect the ignition wire (teal wire) to the ignition wire of my stereo I get no power. But if I connect the large brown wire to BOTH the power AND ignition wire of my stereo I get power without even having the key in the ignition. Any ideas???

are you using the an aftermarket harness adapter? If not it is only $10, please get it before you hook something up wrong and cause internal wiring damage. Which will cost you time, and a lot of money.

With the Harness everything is color coded and you are up and running within minutes just connect right color to color.

You can get it at best buy. you may also want to pickup the radio antenna adapter.

My wife bought a 08 SL but we found out after it had been in a wreck. The problem is when you turn off the car after 5 seconds the stereo light comes on with the clock with the key in or out of the ignition?? Of course this is killing the batt everyday so it is a pain in the a**.

Every 10 secs or so it flashes like it is somehow tied to the security system. Is there a chance that it was just not re installed properly?? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks
