Car is a 93 240 Coupe. As the title states, No Dash lights (no illumination), HUD, odometer, tripometer do not work. The speedometer works. When I turn the key to accesorries, only the 4 lights to the right of the speedo works. All fuses are good. I checked through the forums and found all the topics concerning the Capacitor resoldering thread(s) and check of the TCM. Timing control module was good. A look at the HUD cluster checks good for a visual inspection of no burnt out paths. My greatest concern is that when I purchased the car I noticed the entire wiring harness for the radio was cut. I read a thread which talks about a Red/yellow wire and Red/blue wire that shouldnt be touched. Too late for that. Whats the fix for those wires? They are all cut flush with no wires protruding out. Do I just ground these? Or wrap with elec. tape? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Do you have a Factory Service Manual (FSM) ?

If not, here's a link to one.http://phatg20.net/modules.php...d=230

And the illumination diagram to point you in the right direction

it probly blew a fuse, check your fuses.

If I remember right, if you ground out your power wire in the radio harness. itle blow a 10amp fuse.

check your fuses home skillet.

it happend to me when i put in my radio.. there is a red wire that gets power when u turn on the headlights. find it with a test light. make sure the key is not in the ignition when u do this. once u find that wire just ground it off and your dash should light up.<<<im talking about the wires that run to the radio>>>>>>>>>LEVE THE HEADLIGHTS ON WHILE DOING THIS REPAIR

i did that one time wiring up the radio... it blew the relay thats located on the lower left driver side kick panel near the fuses.. once that happend all my cluster lights stop working but car functions normally ... if you take the relay apart you can actually trace where its burnt ... or go to your local junk yard ... i'm still not sure how it blew the relay but i think it has something to do with the illumination wire or red wire? anyways good luck
