How do you pull the radio out on J30?

My stereo has the same problem with the display and the CD.Anyway I wanted to ask how do you pull the actual radio out of the car.Do you need thoose special radio tools or something else.I was thinking putting regular cd player in there instead of the original one.Any suggestions how to compensate the extra room?

Pulling the stereo out is easy. Remove the surround around the shifter (it's held by tabs and pops up-be gentle!!!).

That exposes a set of screws that removes the surround around the stereo and climate control.

when you pull the OEM stereo forward its got an adaptor connected to it. Simply disconnect it.
