I believe there are a couple of guys here who also have the M30. If so, or, if not, please weigh in! Fed up with the OEM unit. I bought spare head unit for my Q45, and it is in the shed awaiting. I have had the Q OEM unit repaired a couple of times, too! I just like to keep them as OEM as possible, but the M30 is no longer viable!

OK guys! The OEM unit (Clarion, I believe) has went teets up again for at least the 4th time! Shipping and repair costs make repair no longer viable. The ONLY reason I kept repairing before is that it is the wife's car and she likes the remote controls on the dash.

Has anyone switched out their non-Bose units in the M30? I would appreciate any suggestions. (I could get a unit that has a remote and stick it on the dash for her) Ebay has some guy that claims the wiring harness and antenna connect will allow any after market to plug right in??????

In advance, thanks!

My M30, came with an aftermarket POS C player. I swapped it for a 5 yr old Kenwood single CD with a hide away face that I had from my pre-Infiniti days. It has a remote and I keep it in the center console. Makes it much easier than leaning all the way over believe it or not.
