I have a 7" double din radio installed in my A/C and I've been trying to take it out but its like impossible. It'll wiggle when you try to pull on it but it just wont come out. I tried using all my strength to yank it out. I've checked around it and I'm pretty sure its not stuck on anything. The stock radio came out real easy before and so did this 7" until yesterday when I tried to take it out for this new radio thats coming tomorrow.

Any idea on how to take it out?

Is that an aftermarket head unit? Only digital climate controls come with navigation and this one says its only for manual controls. If it's an aftermarket unit, it looks amazing.

Yeah it's an aftermarket unit. The steering wheel controls work with it ^^

Did you install the 7" that is in there now? Usually double dins are screw mounted to the stock trim piece. This is probably a stupid question but are you sure you unscrewed all 4 mounting screws in the OEM trim piece itself?

It's a different 7" not in the link provided. And yeah I'm sure I took all four screws out. When I'm trying to pull out the radio it just wiggles up and down a little bit but thats it. It's pissing the **** out of me...

It does kind of sit in there snuggly. Give it a nice firm tug, up and away. I cant think of anything that would hold it in unless your wiring got tangled up somehow. If thats the case, you should be able to get your hand behind it to adjust.

I've tried using all my strength like literally lol. I'm guessing the wires are tangled but it doesnt feel like it, feels like the plastic thats attached to the radio on the sides that goes in is stuck on the wall inside. I guess I'll just start ripping the plastic off if I cant get it off soon.

Can you take some pics? There is no way the plastic on the left and right of the radio are getting caught. There is a few inches clearance from the radio itself on either side, and the trim is flush mount.

I can't at the moment but I don't think I'm even able to get the pictures of the inside where I think it's making it stuck at

can you write a review about it (with pics) after the install? I want to install a navigation system in my car but know it will get stolen if it doesn't look stock. This one looks stock so I dont think anyone would try to steal it.

I more or less just want to see what headunit you have in there. If you can, pop off the bottom trim panel that hides the two bottom screws, pop out the HVAC vents, and snap one.

This just dawned on me. Are you using the OEM trim piece or an aftermarket dash kit like Metra?

^ this is probably it. If you're using an aftermarket dash you're gonna have to do some shaving. I remember mine got stock when we installed it but then it was fine after we edited it.

I'm using an aftermarket dash kit from Amazon.com and everything fit perfectly except for the front where the screen sticks out of so I had to do some shaving for the 7" screen to fit. And here's a review of the system from the link:
