Last week I purchased a previously enjoyed 2006 M35x from my local dealer. Since last Saturday I have noticed that the audio coming from the speakers sometimes gets scrambled. One hears a "bloop" and then the music resumes. Some would call it a "skip" (if it was a CD).
It doesn't happen on every trip and has happened more times during evening drives. Someone suggested to me that it may be police radar. I am not convinced of this and have “tested” this theory by driving under some traffic lights that had Ka/X band emitters. This did not trigger the scrambling of the signal. Does anyone have an idea what this can be? Could it be something with the handshaking of my cell phone to the Bluetooth? The link was active but no calls were inbound/outbound at the time. This has only occurred a total of 10 times (3 of them during the same trip) but it is getting very annoying.
