I am sure there must be other people who have had this same thing happening.
I stopped for a few minutes the other day. Locked the car by the door handle button. When I came back I unlocked in the same way and my sat nav/radio screen displayed 'please wait' then after about 3 minutes it displayed 'Secure' in a green box. I can get the screen to work by pressing the 'Info' button but this only displays basic information but it does tell me that the screen is working.
I can get the cd's out of the autochanger so that part is working and I can hear the DVD player spooling up and seeking but nothing comes on the screen.
I have tried the usual 'disconnect the battery for 30 mins' then unlock but this worked once but then it stopped again. Also I have just noticed that the Alarm does not sound when I opened the bonnet/hood after one of the resets. (bonnet/hood half closed to trick the alarm button and opened whilst car still locked).
HELP.....

"Secure" on a green background indicates that there is a problem in the link between NATS IMMU and Audio, suggesting that there is an audio fault or the audio unit has previously been fitted in another vehicle.

When a "Secure" message (of any type) is displayed, it can be cleared by re-initialising the NATS system using CONSULT-II and the immobiliser PIN code, which can only be done at a Nissan dealer.

Thank you for this info. None of the components have been changed out so it looks like a trip to the dealer. Do you have a thought over how long they should take on this or is there a standard set charge for the job as my dealer is topping £90 per hour!

I have looked under the dashboard to see if there are any loose connections I have found a box with L1 on it and some other numbers. I cannot find any reference to it in the repair manual. Could this be anything to do with the problem?

Hi all. Very strange but it all came back to life yesterday! I had decided to leave the repair until I had enough to be able to completely replace the system but what do I do now?
It did this before and worked for a few weeks then stopped again. Any thoughts?
