This is for the Honda, but I hope you guys can help me. This doesn't make sense. There is a jack for the radio to plug in an iPod. It is just one that has a single plug and you plug the other end into the earphone jack. When I plug in my iPod, AUX comes up on the screen of the radio, but nothing comes out of the speakers. :gotme

The radio part works fine, but the CD changer is jammed and I can't get this jack to work. Gosh...I sure don't want to have to take it to Honda and spend any more $$$ :frown:

weird...make sure you can hear music out of the iPod. Maybe the volume is turned way down. Check it with a set of headphones.

You can try another source to see if it's the deck or the iPod. If that still doesn't work, something is wrong with the radio itself.

OMG, if I just had the volumn down it would be a total blond moment. I doubt it though. Most of my music is usually full volume.

:band:

I'll check it out when I get home.

Yep, check ipod volume. And then go into settings/menu on headunit to look for AUX settings, maybe have to turn it on or turn the AUX volume up.

OMG, the volumn was all the way down. :lolling:

In all fairness to me, it isn't the iPod I use all the time and how the heck the volumn got all the way down I will never know.

One less thing I have to fix. Now I need to get the CD changer unjammed. Any suggestions Joe?

OMG! You are a blond!!! :picard:

But it happens to us all...

Older CD changers are notorious for getting stuck...You could try taking it apart (Remove from dash first) and see if you can open it up...maybe its something simple. But that's probably too much work. If you really want the CD to work, buying a new deck would be the best route. Don't have to spend big bucks...

Check out this site...I've had good luck with them and they have decent prices: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/viewcat.php

Yup, just paid $155 to have 4 different shades weaved in. ;)

You don't understand baby, I already have $2000 in that thing. I don't want to spend any more on it. Just spent another morning detaling. It is up to my standards now except the scratches, dents, cigarette burns that I can't do anything about. I also lost the hubcap on the way to the mall. Thought I had it on tight.

Don't worry B, we all have our blonde moments. Just chalk it up and don't think about senility.

Oh yeah, I would much rather have blond moments than senior ones.
