Not sure if anyone has tried this yet, but i was looking at newer navigation radios from a qx80 and it looks like the only difference is it has one extra plug in the back which i would assume doesn't need to be used to work. I'm no even sure it would be worth the attempt but ive been trying to find a way to have newer maps on my 2011 without spending 300 on the carplay thing. Which with that i was looking at this one (https://ebay.us/m/QVmwLs) that replaces the screen too i think but no sure if it really keeps all the stock functionality as well. I may just end up getting the car play. Its also possible that particular one is a scam

Looks like the qx70 (2017) radio is the same. I'm not sure if there is some ridiculous vin attachment issue that would prevent it from working. I also cant find any info on the touch screen to see if it is a higher resolution or the same.
