I recently came into the Rogue owners club a couple of months ago with the purchase of my 2011 SL. I have been really pleased with the rogue, with the exception of one thing. About 4 - 5 times per month the radio will lose its clock settings, audio settings and station presets. 1st thing i thought of was the battery but the strange thing is that it doesn't lose my XM station presets like the AM/FM presets. I have taken it to a dealer and he checked the ground connects and battery and such and said there is nothing he can find wrong. Anyone else have this happen, what can i do about it? I've heard this head unit goes for about $2500 and it is covered under my extended warranty but i cant get anyone to tell me something is wrong..... Can you guys shed some light on this? :wtf2:

If it's losing the standard radio and holding the XM stations, it suggests there's a problem with the unit itself. My 2011 head unit had a defective usb port, so they replaced it for free under warranty.

Depending on which head unit you have, they can be found on eBay for anywhere between $95-$400.

im not sure of the model number but it is the one with the backup camera screen in it. No Navigation though... MY warranty deductible is very low so i would like to have it replaced from the factory with a new unit but, the dealership is telling me that until they see it happen they cant call the unit defective. How am i supposed to recreate this issue if it happens randomly? Frustrating

Just want to share what my buddy did to convince the dealership. He recorded his daily routine until the issue re-appeared. Bad thing though, the issue did not replicate when he was on the dealership.
