IIRC, the red is ignition and the smaller gauge red with stripe is the 12v memory circuit. Mine may not have been stock though, it had been hacked up pretty bad by the previous owner. If all else fails, you can pull a wire from the fuse box for the ignition and pull a wire from your battery through the firewall for the 12v memory, just make sure to fuse that circuit for protection. Pretty much any auto parts store will have a small in-line fuse receptacle.

However, if you don't have to, you can buy an adapter from Scosche that will plug and play with no wiring for a few bucks. Their early nissan faceplate kit also includes a faceplate for our trucks that works quite well.

Did you hack the truck wire harness or are the plugs still intact?

search radio install and look for my name from a while back I put full wiring color code on here one day. Sorry but I do not have that sheet with colors handy but it is here under a radio post I responded to maybe 4-6 months or more ago.

i finally got my radio wired up. i decided not to use an adapter to the stock harness i just wired it up myself as i wanted. a friend showed me this it tells what each wire in the harness does. made life easy. i think you can find this info for any nissan, or really most cars
