Radio/Electronic Section

Who thinks a section devoted to radios and gadgets would help?Radio section..yay or nay

It's a good idea. Most people have been posting their stereo problems in the technical section (well, the 240 bunch does at least). I don't see it as a pressing issue, but it might help in organization a bit.

I think there should be one so it can address certain issues just focusing on radio and electronics. That way like in the techical section can deal with the other problems and such. Just so that it wont get mixed in with other things that dont really relate to radio and all. (I think I put that to how I wanted to say it lol)

I voted YES and at this point in the game it's unanimous. I think that is a great idea. There will always be questions about stereos, both factory and aftermarket. I am sure that there are a lot of stereo-heads on this board too that could really contribute to that forum if it comes to pass.

A lot of other boards do this as well.I amusually against increasing the number of our forums tho, feeling its a bit oo large as it is.This a mistake sites often make losing synergy in the process.

By Synetgy of cpourse I mean that a given number of memebr sharing only one forum tend to make more total posts than the same number sharung 2 and then adding up the 2.Just PPL psychology.

BUT maybe we should make an exception in this case I want everyone to think carefully about the need for such a forum before they vote.

If everyone wants one then we should make one.

(While at the same time thinking about ways to merge some of our other forums)

I think too many useless threads will be started so I voted NO. And also, we already have bandwith issues you know, dont' need more gas for the fire!

I'm not sure on this but you could set limits on it, to only allow those questions that pertain to the matter and not have them off track. Keep it topic based only. That way there might not be alot of threads in it and stuff. Either that or keep it like an open idea and wait til like later to try it or something.
