Radio Display

Okay, once again I am showing my "newness" to the Infiniti lifesytle. I have noticed that on my CD/radio display, that it dosen't display the name of the cd or any track on the cd when I am playing it. Is there any way to enhance this so that I will show what CD I am playing and the name of the artist and tracks? Now I know that I can go out and buy a system that does this, but would like to keep the factory intact. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide, you always give GREAT advice!

What is your G's year? I have an 04 Bose system and it doesn't have that function. I would think the newer models would have that feature since they are able to play MP3's. 05 and up chime in!!!

My '06 head unit will display the song name from an MP3 file but not when playing a regular CD. Not sure if that helps.

I have a 2005 G35 Sedan...I wish there was a way that you could make the screen display CD/Radio information.

Mine doesn't either.

An FM station broadcasting RDS does. My factory Sirius Radio does not

I have an '05 G35c. If you hold down the "Disp" button on the radio it toggles between No title -> Folder title -> File name -> artist name -> track title.

The only annoying thing is that if the track title is too long for the display, it doesn't automatically scrolll, you have to "click" the display button to scroll it.

Radio Data System. (I think??)

I get the station, the artist and most of the song name, except the text doesn't wrap if it is too long. AM, FM and XM alike. (If they are RDS stations many FM/AM arn't)
