My friend and I were in a rush and we did something incredibly stupid. Yes, we put the battery on backwards in the Autozone parking lot. Doing this caused my alternator to completely blow. After replacing the alternator and buying a new battery the radio, cruise control, and interior lights do not work. What do I do to fix this? None of the fuses are blown and even bought a new radio and rewired it from the original radio wiring. I NEED TO LISTEN TO MUSIC! Any thing I can do, or should I just get a whole new wiring harness?

hey buddy did you ever fixed that problem..i was listening to music one day and noticed that one of the subs was disconnected.i tried to connect it with the music playing then all of the sudden i created a short on the sub wires and the misic shut off. Then the radio came back on but the subs wouldnt play.. next day my radio went off and wont come back on..next day i turned my interior lights on and lasted 2 seconds on then went off and wont come back on..also because all of this my hatch open light stayed half bright at all times when the car is on..if i open the hatch the light gets fully bright..iv done some research and heard of the BCM (body control module) ..hope you fixed your problem thanks..

Definitely blew the main fuse, happened to me once when I wired the alternator incorrectly once.
