Radio controls at steering wheel not working

The title says most of it

I have a 2002 pathy, recently the radio controls from the steering wheel quit working. At the radio the controls are just fine. Any clues where to start? I will also post in the audio section. I have not done a search yet either.

I have not pulled anything off the steering wheel yet, my first inclination was to pull the horn cover and try and get to the buttons to see what I could see.

I'm curious if you ever found out more regarding your question about radio controls not working from the steering wheel?

My wife has a similar year QX4 (cousin to the Pathy) and has the same issue. If you ever received info about the source of the problem, links, anything...I'd really appreciate any advice you could pass along.

The new Pathys have all of the cool stuff...stupid radio without controls at my wheel & what not...
