Maybe because there are none?RAP wrote:The owners manual doesn't mention anything about radio codes that I could find.
Well oh silly me. Never did I think that there would NOT be any radio codes to worry about. I just assumed that there would be since I came from Acura, and a Bose radio... I'm still with my Acura though, radio codes and all.Radio Codes are good, makes you feel smart and sophisticated when you punch them in to restore the music. Kinda like "I Spy"There is a website, http://www.radiocode.com that will retrieve your radio code for a fee and although they are in Great Britain they do offer Nissan service but not the Q45. And there is the dealerships I suppose, but I don't go there much for anything except parts occasionally. ThanksJackgammer_ghn wrote:ok always remember this. you upgraded your car and you dont have whack radio codes that only the dealer could help you out with. haha dont worry pulling the battary wont hurt at all. i hate honda/acura except their coupe legends which are even more powerfull than 4dr legends by 30 hp... wish infiniti did the same with the Q!!! a stick shift coupe Q45 imagine that.....
That website looks to be one that finds music. Are you looking for error codes?RAP wrote:

Oh. Good to know. I don't have a Bose head unit. My Q didn't come with one. Thank you for clearing that up. Are all of the codes the same? Have you checked the Bose website? What's the model number? Maybe I can do a little digging around.RAP wrote:Some car have an anti-theft feature for the radio. If the battery/electrical power is disconnected the radio goes blank and there is a number code for restoring it to service. You punch in the numbers using the preset buttons.
I suppose no-one want to steal those hard to sell Q45's??? After all they don't sell that well, legally.
