Howdy folks, nice site here, love the service manuals sections :)

ok, I picked up an 02 Q45 at auction, in the process of getting the parts to clear the Engine codes, so I thought I would take a peek at the inside.

OK, so the stereo itself does not seem to work at all, I cannot get it to display anything about the stereo/radio at all, and I just hear some intermittent clicks from the speakers.

Climate control seems to work ok, for the most part (once I clean it all out).

Not sure if the stereo controls are part of the electronics stuck to the backside of the trim piece, or if it's located elsewhere.

So are the audio components inside this thing, or should I look elsewhere?

Seems like a chame to have all these noce bose speakers and no way to put jams through them.

Thanks for reading.

:welcome: to NICO!

It sounds like the factory service manual will help you with a lot of projects on this car. Check it out at www.infinitiservicemanual.com. I'm sorry that I don't have any specific answers to your question, but I don't have a ton of experience with your series of Q...

Thanks for the reply.

I'm loving the service manuals so far... some great tips in there.

I struggled for a bit to get a new pwr steering belt on with one hand, then noticed the service manual says "hey, there's a place to lock the tensioner pulley out of the way" and poof, progress.

I'm wondering if the Cima parts would fit the same way...

68261ar200 is the infiniti part number, need to cross ref it somehow

Bando makes belts for most, if not all Nissan products. If you look closely at a new OEM Nissan belt they typically have the Bando part number also stamped on them. Nissan has gotten amazingly expensive on their belts in the last few years, so I started buying Bando belts at either Rock Auto or off of eBay. If you search for your car, and then click on the part number it'll show you the length, number of ribs, and top width. Then you can click on "Complete Application Buyer's Guide for this product" under the picture of the belt and it'll give you a list of all of the cars it'll fit.
