Radio beeps whem using fm transmitter with Ipod

Hey guys, new around here.

I haven't got around to doing the Ipod hard wire into my system so I have been using my Belkin Ipod FM transmitter.

Problem, is, no matter what empty channel I tune in to, I get a beep every minute or so from the stereo? I turn off the transmitter, but it continues, so it is definitely the system. Its like its telling me I am not tuned to a signal or something.

Can anyone offer any help/advise?
