Okay new to this forum, and before I get any flak for the question I have posted I did do a search for wiring diagrams. I have recently installed an X-treme Sound CD/MP3 player in my fiance's 1990 Nissan Stanza. And it was not very successful, when the car is on the running lights stay on and when the car is off the seat belts will not retract with the door open until you either turn the switch to AC or you turn on the running lights . I am very familiar with wiring but have never seen wiring colored as such. I have a Chilton manual but it does not have the wiring Schematics in there. Is there any one that has a copy that they can send me or could someone just tell me what each wire goes to so I can wire the stereo up correctly? Thanks for any and all help.

Wow, sounds liek somethings definitely twisted, but you knew that.

I searched the entire WWW and it looks like http://www.the12volt.com has a wiring schematics db, but you have to be a member to access. As much as I like that site, I don't need another screen name, but you may try that.

Another idea may be to email (through user profile) MECPInstaller. He's always been helpful in the Car Audio forum.

did you try directed electronics url . they have an infinte wiring diagram selection? emphasize a bit more on your problem. i am also mecp certified. you did hook up to 12-14gauge wiring in your ignition harness right? if you could run the list of wires coming outta the h.u. and explain where you hooked up the wiring we could probably diagnose that way
