i was tryin to find my bleeder valve for my radiator a couple hours ago but couldnt find it, it was kind dark, but my car was over heating during that heat wave and i cant think of anything else but to flush it, every thing else looks good i think, let me know what you think, and where is that bleeder valve?

The Pathfinder cooling system bleeder valve sticks up between the firewall (near the center of the firewall) and engine and has a small bypass cap clamped on it.

That's where the bleeder is on the 2001 with DOHC engine. The OP has a 1997wuth a SOHC engine and it may well be elsewhere. I still have the FSM frommy '95, and there was a drain plug on each side, and an air bleeder on top.It's hard to tell where the air bleeder was without a truck to compare it to,but maybe front left from the picture.

What we really need is someone with a '97 FSM to help out here.
