I have a 90, non turbo, with manual transmission. I ordered a replacement radiator, and the new one has two tubes at the bottom of the radiator, but my current one does not. Maybe these are for automatic transmission? If i simply do not use them, will that cut back on the cooling capacity ?
I have searched all around to try and find one that does not have those two tubes, but maybe it doesn't matter?

Doesn't matter. ATF runs through the tubes to cool or regulate the auto transmission, not coolant. It also does not reduce cooling ability. Just install, ignore the tubes and move on.
