radiator questions

ok well long story short, i fried a piston way back when, had a shop rebuild my motor etc etc.. i took it from them because they were being really shiesty about my car. now its overheating and the shop basically told me to f' off...i wanted to get some opinions on my overheating issue..first the specsrebuilt sr20det redtop, bored to 88.6 i believe, 550 injectors, t28 turbo, also running a little richslight lifter tick as well

i have a friend takin it to his school to work on it and diagnose the overheating issue.

im betting its because of the stock ka radiator that is hooked up and im planning on buying a new/ used one this weekend anyways.

any opinions ? im liking the koyo radiators alot, but they are pricey ( but im willing to pay unless i find something cheaper and something that works as well )

any input would be appreciated !!

what radiators do u guys roll with or have props for ??

dont know the prices youve found on the koyos but phase2motortrend has them for $285. thats the cheapest i have found so far

My friend is running a mishimoto on a stock ka. I have a koyo. Most of them work the same as long as theyre aluminum and thick enough for you car.

ok i havent seen/ heard to much on mishimoto ( spelling ??? ) but im not doubting there products im looking forward to some more input im really likin the phat koyos...thanks for ur input

I dont think your rad is causing the initial overheat issue. But I use a Mishimoto rad for the KA24 on my 5.7 liter LS engine... stays cool.

like i said i plan on buying a new radiator this week anyways. just wanted input on radiators from current sr owners etc to see if they have had any problems

any bad luck buying used ?
