I recently purchased a 93, 5-speed Nissan 240sx. At first the car was fine. After a few days I noticed that it was dropping coolant. This happens every time the car gets hot. A small puddle forms by the radiator cap, right under the intake by the other smaller hoses making a real mess. Could one of the small hoses be leaking or can this be caused by the radiator cap being too loose? Can it be a more serious problem? Any answer to these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Unsure, the only hose under the rad. cap is the coolant over flow hose to the over flow tank. If it's coming out around the cap it's possiblie the cap. But I have seen the neck of the rad. leak where the neck meets the top tank of the rad.
