Wondered if anybody had any input on this. I tried searching but didn't find anything relevant to what i was looking for. I have an upgraded radiator (not stock, not koyo, basically another row brass), and purchased the FAL slim dual 12" fan pullers to go on there. I'm using rb25 mckinney mounts and i removed the small spacers and plate that goes over the fan motor which gave me just enough clearance to set the fans in. Problem is, I don't feel comfortable running those fans that close (about less then 1/8"?) so i was thinking of notching the upper frame so i can angle it forward giving it the clearance i was looking for. Ofcoarse, I'd want to try and weld extra support to componsate for what i cut out across the nose and run hoodpins so i do not run into any problems with the hood release. what is everybody else's experience with installing pullers on their ride? thanks in advance

Just notch it and lean it forward its very easy. And just get a strut bar if your worried about flex there

i would recommend going with aluminum radiator.....check online for some ford mustang style Griffin or someting like that. they are decent and will work well for your application.
